Connect Vending proposed a solution that is a step between vending and catering: The Deli Café. This micro-market solution is an innovative unattended retail solution that includes:

Our illy Coffee on the Go Premium Coffee Station was the perfect fit, bringing high-quality Italian coffee to Amazon Filters’ workplace. This solution allows employees to enjoy barista-style beverages at a fraction of high-street prices, all without leaving the office.
This solution features the Crane Coti hot drinks machine, our highest-capacity illy commercial coffee machine, featuring:
✓ A cup-drop system, ideal for employees working outdoors or are on-the-go.
✓ A cup-sensor for those preferring to use their own mugs.
✓ Freshly brewed espresso using illy’s 100% Arabica coffee beans.
✓ A diverse beverage menu, including popular coffee recipes such as cappuccinos, lattes, mochas, hot chocolates, and fresh loose-leaf tea.

The Results
After installation, Connect Vending hosted an engagement day to introduce the new illy Coffee on The Go self-service coffee machine. Staff were invited to enjoy complimentary coffee throughout the morning, share their feedback through a short survey and participate in a prize draw to win £25 credit to spend at the Deli Café.
Over half of respondents praised the coffee quality, with the majority rating the coffee 4 stars and above.
